EVENTS:
        An individual short-distance qualifying time trial to determine seeding into heats.
        3 mass-start events for each class.
        Exact race formats TBA.

CLASSES:
        Pro/Elite
        Advanced
        Intermediate/Beginner - 4-wheel non-racing frames only.
        Women
        * Classes may be divided further depending on the number of entrants.

AWARDS:
        Cash percentage of entry fees for Pro/Elite class.
        Medals and merchandise prizes for all other classes.
        Points awarded in the events will be totalled to determine final placements in each class.

SCHEDULE:
        Saturday, October 20, 2001 (Rain date: Sunday, October 21)
          9:00am - Track and registration open.
        10:00am - 200m time trials and sprint tournament.
        12:00noon - Lunch break.
          2:00pm - Mass-start races begin.
          5:00pm - Awards.

LOCATION:
        San Diego Velodrome, Balboa Park, near downtown San Diego.
        Take I-8 and exit south on Texas Street between the 163 and 805 Freeways.
        Continue south on Texas Street for 2 miles to its end in Balboa Park.
        Park here between the swimming pool and tennis courts.
        Walk straight across Morley Field around the right side of the baseball fields to the Velodrome.

REGISTRATION:
        Deduct $5 if pre-registering before 10/13/01. Online registration available at Active.com.
            $20 - Intermediate/Beginner class - 200m time trial, sprint tournament, and one mass-start event.
            $30 - All other classes - Includes all events.
        All entrants will be required to sign a liability waiver.
        Parent or legal guardian signature required for entrants under 18.
        Helmets mandatory. Other safety equipment recommended.
