San Diego Velodrome

SPRING SERIES: EVERY OTHER WEEK FROM APRIL 8 THROUGH MAY 20, 2003
SUMMER SERIES: EVERY OTHER WEEK FROM JULY 8 THROUGH AUGUST 19, 2003

Inline racing returns to the Velodrome for a fourth year to accompany the Tuesday night cycling races. In 2003 the racing will be two shorter series again, running every other week for four events each.
Inline racing will take place on the apron at the bottom of the banked cycling track. Smooth asphalt, flat, level, 333m oval lap. Track lighting keeps the facility brightly lit after sunset. Skate and bicycle races will be intermixed in the evening schedules.
Events will change from week to week for variety. Points scored each week will be totalled at the end of each series for series awards. Come by to compete or spectate!

Due to a failure in the lighting system at the Velodrome,
The skate races in the Spring and Summer Series has been suspended for 2003.
SDSE's Rockin' Summer Classic on Saturday, August 23 is not affected.
We hope the Series will return in 2004.
